THERMAL COVERS TO PROTECT CONTAINERS
The thermal cover acts as insulation, significantly reducing heat transfer between the inside and outside of the container. Ideal for certain types of cargo which are sensitive to temperature extremes, whether it be hot or cold. We have covers with a single or double metallized layer. The external layer reflects the heat radiation back outside.
The internal metallized layer reflects part of the thermal energy back inside, which is important for goods which are sensitive to cold.
The middle layer of polyethylene with air bubbles also provides thermal insulation and protects against humidity, which is useful for protecting goods
from condensation and humidity during transport.
We have a range of materials and kits with double-sided adhesive tape for 20DV and 40DV containers.

THERMAL TOP BLANKET
The thermal top blanket covers pallets with a layer of insulating material, covering the entire upper surface area and dropping down at the side of the door. It creates insulation which concentrates more on the upper part of the load where it is more susceptible to heat.
For shorter journeys or circumstances where heat is not such an issue, they may be sufficient depending on how sensitive the load is. Their main advantage
is how quick they are to apply, although they do not guarantee uniform protection.
They are also very useful as an additional line of protection to the thermal liner or thermal wall blanket inside the shipping container. They create a second barrier which improves the protection already provided by the container, consistently reducing maximum temperatures by 3-6ºC.
Due to its ease of use and size, it can also be used on truck olads.
